Schedule

The show is about the guests, and I am thrilled and privileged to be able to invite so many fascinating people to join me in discussion.

The schedule for the spring is set (airdates — not guests — subject to change, and all airtimes are streamed at KZSU-FM LIVE). For the fall, the show will air from 2-3pm pacific time on Fridays.

New shows begin in January 2017 and will include:

Lorelei Kelly of the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation at Georgetown University, on what we can learn about our governmental institutions from the 2016 election cycle and results.

Prof. Frank Pasquale of the University of Maryland School of Law, on the implications of the Presidential elections on institutions, information and the public trust.

Prof. Jon Elster, Robert K. Merton Professor of the Social Sciences at Columbia University, editor of Secrecy and Publicity in Votes and Debates.

Prof. David Golumbia of Virginia Commonwealth University, author of The Politics of Bitcoin.

Prof. Shannon Vallor of Santa Clara University, author of Technology and the Virtues: A Philosophical Guide to a Future Worth Wanting.

Kate Darling, Research Specialist at the MIT Media Lab, on robotics.

Future Guests:

Prof. Ryan Calo of University of Washington School of Law on robotics regulation and law.

I am now booking guests for the winter quarter of 2017, which begins in January 2017, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know by emailing me at dave@hearsayculture.com or via the Contact page. Meanwhile, thank you for listening and I hope that you enjoy the shows as much as I enjoy doing them!
